If you were an animal, what would it be?

A panda bear--they are adorable and everyone stares at them ;)

Tell us three fun facts about yourself.

I am a semi-retired registered nurse (since I was 20 years old, so that makes almost 38 years). My favorite job was being a Campus Nurse at Reinhardt University for 11 years. I am a lover of people and have been told that I can talk to a brick wall, but I like talking to people better. I have had 8 grandchildren in 6 years (not me, my 3 boys' wives) and my oldest, Copeland, died of SADS and was brought back! Now he has had a pacemaker and defibrillator since the age of 20 months. He's 6 years old!!!! One of 5 known in the world to still be living. Ck out "Will Startup" on YouTube, but have some kleenex ready.

Please finish this statement: I consider myself an

extrovert

What brought you to this site?

I have ADORED your art from almost your beginning and I have a cupboard that you did for my 30th anniversary!!!

Anything else you'd like to share about yourself?

My mom was an artist--piano (my husband's accompanist at Belmont College) and she paints, draws, and was a Master Seamstress at the Opryland Hotel for 23 years. My dad was an artist; sculpting out of clay and also "sculpted teeth" as an orthodontist. In my family we learned, if we wanted something--MAKE IT! I have handed that down to my boys. My middle son, Will, played baseball for UGA and pro ball for 10 years and is now on his second year at GA Tech (only two years to go), to pursue his passion--designing athletic shoes(cleats, etc). He can draw anything. My youngest son, Nick, can make bobble heads (wedding cake toppers, look-alikes, etc) and sent the show "Ace of Cakes" decorators a bobblehead each standing on a cake they had made on the show. My husband, Don, is a Worship Pastor and all of my guys can sing the roof down and LOVE JESUS! That's pretty much our life story.
