That time of year

I suppose it depends on where on the globe you live, but here in BC it is a time of fast changes in the weather and falling darkness. In two weeks we have gone from shorts for a walk to hats and gloves. Frost hit the garden last night....darkness visits by 7:00 or so. Hibernation time for some. I confess....I like it for a couple of months.....gets me to the studio every day for hours.Inward looking time I think, as being inside on my own differs greatly from being out chatting with neighbour's and galavanting to the local park for "Music in the Park" every night off the week.Glad to connect with you all on this site....common thinkers in a lot of ways. Love the art in the photos...there are so many I cannot begin to comment on "how lovely".

  • Yep. It's similar weather going on here. I am out in the greenhouse with freezing fingertips trying to savor the last of the daylight. <3

This area is a place to check in and let other's know where we are at. A place to be heard.

Writing is a great way to share information and get things off your chest. If you have something you'd like to share regarding your artistic journey, this is a good place to do it. Maybe discuss a current project you are working on, an experience you had, or simply what's been going on in that head of yours. Maybe you are into poetry and feel like sharing that. Whatever it may be, I encourage you to blog a little...ramble and rant if you want. Check in daily if you'd like. Perhaps post a video of yourself. Whatever feels right for you.

This should go without saying, but...before you comment on someone else's blog, check yourself and make sure you are being kind. Let's all help to make this a safe and supportive atmosphere. Words matter.
