Hibernation begins!

I agree with you about loving the time in the studio during the dark months when the outdoors isn't always beckoning! I live right on the ocean and struggle always with staying indoors to paint versus getting out there in the salty air. I'm looking forwArd to the hibernation... Until it becomes depressing! And yes, it is so wonderful To be able to connect with the many like minded creative souls visiting here!

  • How can a person miss what they don't really know? I miss the ocean
    • Oh I believe there is an ocean inside of all of us! Have you never been to the ocean?
      • I have been to the ocean here in BC as well as weeks here and there while on holiday. But every day?????? The ultimate meditation...good for the soul I know. You are fortunate Denise

This area is a place to check in and let other's know where we are at. A place to be heard.

Writing is a great way to share information and get things off your chest. If you have something you'd like to share regarding your artistic journey, this is a good place to do it. Maybe discuss a current project you are working on, an experience you had, or simply what's been going on in that head of yours. Maybe you are into poetry and feel like sharing that. Whatever it may be, I encourage you to blog a little...ramble and rant if you want. Check in daily if you'd like. Perhaps post a video of yourself. Whatever feels right for you.

This should go without saying, but...before you comment on someone else's blog, check yourself and make sure you are being kind. Let's all help to make this a safe and supportive atmosphere. Words matter.
