  • It was a pleasure to watch you both working. The painting is wonderful. Your style inspires me a lot. Thanks for showing.

    • Thanks so much Conny ;-)

  • Watching now. What a hoot! I bet that was fun. I tried to do some collaborative work before and it was challenging. Did you guys discuss what you would do ahead of time or just go for it?

    • Yes, it was fun recording and for sure challenging; but a great learning process. We just went for it, and started painting. I normally paint alone; but extending my creative process with another artist is rewarding in many ways. Our styles are very different, therefore giving us both room  learning from one another.

We had an angel above the 3 figures; but eventually just left a ghostly appearance, and called the painting "The Visitor"

Carolyn also loves paper a lot, and I've learn the joy of  using just paper in my art. She brought me a package of japanese collage paper one day, and I've be making little  teabag bookmarks with my teabag sweeties I've created last year, and handcrafted journals . xo

  • Actually, I went ahead and took care of it from my end...but it's still good for you to know it can be done :)

    • Thanks so much Jane!

  • Hey there! If you would like to share the video(s) rather than links:

    • look for the little edit pencil icon and click on that to edit your post
    • click on the movie icon (3rd one in, left to right, on the toolbar)
    • paste the embed code there
    • save your work

    That should do it!

This area is a place to check in and let other's know where we are at. A place to be heard.

Writing is a great way to share information and get things off your chest. If you have something you'd like to share regarding your artistic journey, this is a good place to do it. Maybe discuss a current project you are working on, an experience you had, or simply what's been going on in that head of yours. Maybe you are into poetry and feel like sharing that. Whatever it may be, I encourage you to blog a little...ramble and rant if you want. Check in daily if you'd like. Perhaps post a video of yourself. Whatever feels right for you.

This should go without saying, but...before you comment on someone else's blog, check yourself and make sure you are being kind. Let's all help to make this a safe and supportive atmosphere. Words matter.
